Yet another Pakistani movie, ‘Karachi Se Lahore’ (KSL) is all set to release on July 31. KSL is a big screen directorial debut of well known drama director and filmmaker Wajahat Rauf and features stars like Ayesha Omer, Javed Shaikh, Shehzad Sheikh, Yasir Hussain, Ahmed Ali, Rashid Naz, Eshita Syed and others. “Karachi se Lahore is a romantic comedy, a home-grown Pakistani road trip movie about a group of five people travelling from Karachi to Lahore for a specific purpose,” the director revealed in an interview to Dawn. “They go through this roller-coaster journey to get to their destination and end up finding themselves in the process,” he added.
The music for the movie is directed by Shiraz Upal and Noori boys, Ali Hamza and Ali Noor.
The director has also revealed that KSL may include some item numbers as ‘performance based songs.’ While one’s teaser is already out, we can expect at least one more item number in the movie.
